An extensive piece highlighting one of my own “knapped” flint arrow points. The point is of pinkish Burlington Chert. The arrowhead is ‘fixed’ to the piece in the traditional method of attaching points to arrows using deer sinew. The necklace features self dyed bone ‘hairpipes’, and replicas of green chevron trade beads with dividers of elk antler. Tiny brass ‘roundrel’ ‘heishi accent the strands. Top of strands are capped with Bird’s Eye Maple and deer hoof pieces. Definitely a celebration of many different skill sets. | |

A very ‘rich’ piece w/ matching ERs that highlights three of my knapped arrow points of the now ‘restricted’, “Root Beer” obsidian. Natural aged bone hairpipes and brass spacers drop to graduated Tiger’s Eye beads with elk antler pendets. The strands are capped with Southwestern Ironwood and whitetail ‘dew hooves’. The necklace is strung on adjustable 2mm leather cord. The ERs match the set. |

A slightly smaller version of the arrowhead necklaces, this one features pinkish Burlington Chert arrow points, elk antler pendets, and brass spacers, blue dyed hairpaipes, and graduated replicas of Blue Chevron Trade beads. The strands are capped with Purple Heart wood cones and whitetail ‘dew hooves” topped with silver swirls. Strung on 2mm leather cord, adjustable. ERs match the set. |

This necklace has a small whitish Burlington Chert arrow point with one purple “ear”. The elk antler spacers and the natural bone hairpipes are ‘sectioned’ with Purple Heart lines. Brass roundrels provide the sparkle, and the strands are capped with Purple Heart, whitetail ‘dew hooves, and silver swirls. Strung on 2 mm leather cord, adjustable. Tasteful, if I must say so myself. | |
Lil’ Osage and Petrified Wood Necklace Item Number: Price: $250 |
One of my favorite pieces, using one of my favorite woods, and this piece features one of my arrow points knapped of Petrified Wood! The hairpipes are hand turned Osage Orange, as are the line sections in the elk antler dividers and the strand enders. All metal work, including spacers and top caps are of silver, hand made of course. All, tip-topped with little silver swirls, strung on 2mm brown leather cord, adjustable. I’m really proud of this one. | |

An arrowhead necklace built around 3 Matched Banded Pink Burlington Chert arrow points. The strands feature elk antler pendets, and a good show of 14, graduated replica Blue Chveron Trade Beads. Moving up the strands, are dyed blue bone hairpipes with brass roundrel spacers. The strands are capped with Purple Heart wood cones, whitetail ‘dew hooves’ and the necklace is strung on 2mm leather cord, adjustable. The matching earrings have silver hooks. |
